FOH Model Farm

The “Feathers of Hope” Model Farm Project is a transformative initiative aimed at empowering communities in Kinango through sustainable chicken farming. The FOH project aims to alleviate poverty and empower communities through sustainable chicken rearing. The project will raise 300 chicks up to maturity. One hundred and fifty chickens will be sold to the market to generate income to sustain the project, while the rest will be left to lay eggs, which will be placed in an incubator. The hatched chicks will be distributed to community members, providing them with a means to generate income, improve nutrition, and foster community resilience. Additionally, mature chickens and eggs will be sold in the market to sustain the project financially.
